Launched in November 2023 this new system provides a long-term platform to allow the National Security Screen Association to develop and hos industry specific training.
The first course available is “An introduction to security screen” and is a great tool for onboarding new staff or anyone entering the security screen industry. It has received excellent feedback from both new and old NSSA members. This course has been developed in direct response to industry feedback.
These courses are a cost-effective means of developing industry knowledge for staff in a convenient package that can be completed at any time.
"An Introduction to Security Screens" is your starting point to learn and develop skills in the security screen industry. This course outlines definitions and descriptions for security screens. It provides useful information on the types of security screens available. How security screens can be used, important considerations about Australian Standards, and your obligations when selling, building or installing security screens.
The NSSA highly recommends this course as an on-boarding tool to assist new employees as they transition into their role. This can provide immediate benefit and helps meet Workplace Health and Safety on-boarding requirements. The course is ideal for all members of staff, from reception and sales, to manufacturing and installation.
