Locking points are vulnerable to burglary attack, as intruders use levers such as screwdrivers and jemmy bars to try and disconnect the lock from the door frame. The Australian Standards for security doors have identified the locking points as primary attack areas and include a Jemmy Test in the testing procedure for all security doors.
To increase our sliding security door’s resistance to a jemmy attack level beyond that of the Australian Standards, we have partnered with the industry leading hardware manufacturer ASSA Abloy to uniquely create our own Performance Plus (P+) strengthened sliding door strikes.
P+ sliding door strikes are included as standard with all Prowler Proof sliding security doors featuring Lockwood triple point locking, so you receive superior value with industry leading security.
The longer design is two times the industry standard, to help prevent jemmy attacks between the lock face and door frame.
Installed using more screws, up to twice the industry standard, strengthening the holding capacity of the strike to the glass door frame.
