This unique architecturally designed home is nestled into the leaf-covered suburb of Tarragindi in Brisbane’s inner south. This beautiful home has easy access to parks and is surrounded by leafy green trees and wildlife.
When entering the home in the early morning, sunlight was streaming through the homeowners open plan living space and kitchen. They told us that they had just finished their dream renovations, all colours, finishes and building techniques were mindfully curated by Village Architects to create a seamless indoor / outdoor feel. Muted greens, cool tinted whites and satin wood finishes surrounded the space. The idea was to bring the outdoors in and be able to entertain their family and guests in an engaging space.
The homeowner wanted to have the back deck enclosed and didn’t want to use a balustrade that they felt would disrupt the view. ForceField, being one of Prowler Proof’s fall prevention products was used. At this scale and being at height, the strong tensile stainless-steel mesh was required to pass the extensive fall prevention safety requirements.
The result was a beautifully designed, safe space, that makes you feel like you’re in the trees with the birds, amazing airflow and natural sunlight fills the home. The homeowner was happy with the outcome and that they had created a safer place for their family and friends.
