The National Security Screen Association (NSSA) has recently announced the creation of a new CEO (Interim) position and the appointment of Beau Blakemore to the role, effective from 1 June 2023.
The move comes as the NSSA enters a phase of growth and high activity, managing a changing industry environment and returning to traditional industry engagement and training events post-COVID.
The increased workload demands a broad spectrum of areas beyond the capacity of existing staffing and voluntary labour through the Board and Committees.
Beau brings a wealth of experience from the industry and existing programs within the NSSA, having previously served as an NSSA Board Director.
The NSSA looks forward to an increased level of industry and member engagement, program fulfilment and growth within the association.
Governance will continue to be managed by the Board of Directors, headed by NSSA Chair, Derek Tidey.
