As at the 1st August 2023, we will no longer be producing Welded Diamond, SnapLock, or Heritage doors that are Out of Square, Out of Diagonal, or Bowed.
These products have been decreasing in popularity over the last few years, as the market moves towards modern infills. Some of the historical processes used to produce these products are now ineffective in comparison to modern alternatives, and they result in a higher degree of inaccuracy and inefficiency to produce. To ensure we delivery quality, accurate, market leading products that don't impact our service delivery time to you, we've made the decision to remove these options.
This change will primarily impact hinge doors, and therefore an alternative to this is to either use a jamb built out to square up the opening, or discuss modern alternative products with your customer, explaining that to ensure accuracy and the best quality result for their home, the recommendation is to use a modern alterative. As you may already be aware, competitors have either never offered or have already removed this option from their ranges, so you are not disadvantged compared to alternatives.
We would like to assure you that ForceField and Protec doors and windows, and Guardian windows will continue to be available with these options. The infill for these products is cut in a different manner, enabling us to achieve the highest level of accuracy, to ensure these products are to the highest quality level we know you expect.
