Corrosion resistant security screens

April 16, 2014

ForceField® is the most corrosion-resistant security screen in Australia. No other security screen has passed the gruelling 1,000 hour acetic acid salt spray test. The test is pure torture. Acetic acid salt spray is saltier than sea water and 10,000 times more acidic. The test takes place in an enclosed chamber at a temperature of +35ºC with almost 100% humidity. Yet – no matter how much you zoom in – there is no visible corrosion on the ForceField® security screen after the test.

Few other complete security screens have even passed the standard 1,000 hour neutral salt spray test – most manufacturers only test the mesh. ForceField’s 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh has survived a 10,000 hour neutral salt spray test.

What does it mean to you?

If you live in a coastal area or near an industrial area, corrosion is your security screen’s worst enemy. ForceField® is your obvious choice:

  • No other security screen has passed the 1,000 hour acetic acid salt spray test

  • No other brand is covered by a 10 year replacement warranty

  • No special care is required (some brands require cleaning as often as every 1-2 weeks in severe conditions or the warranty is void)
